Design Philosophy & Practice Approach
At MPA, design is viewed as the discovery and synthesis of information. A project's many facets are identified and integrated at the earliest stages, from client requirements, to land forms and context, to construction methods, and agency requirements. At MPA, it is belief that the best design responds to all of these components as contributors to the project rather than problems that must be overcome.
MPA believes that a successful project is the result of successful teamwork. A typical project team consists of the client, architect, interior designer, engineers, contractors, manufacturers and agencies. At MPA, we strive to bring all members of the project team into the process as early as practical, to benefit from the respective experts, while providing the appropriate design direction and project management. As a conductor is to an orchestra, we see similarity to the architect and the overall project.
MPA's clients appreciate the value that we provide by being efficient in our work effort while presenting creative design solutions. Implementing current technologies and a strong system of quality control help us to provide the best possible service. Building Information Technology (BIM) software allows the client to view a 3D computer model of the project, which helps to ensure that they are satisfied with the finished product. In conjunction with our strong quality control process, the software ensures proper drawing coordination between the project's various systems and team members. The firm’s drawings are routinely noted for being clear and concise.
We provide high quality architectural services, while always keeping in mind that we are primarily and ultimately assisting our clients to realize their dreams.
